The Project
Tranen Revegetation Systems required mulch installation as part of revegetation works for a bund alongside a new estate in Busselton. The project involved sourcing, delivering, and installing 850m³ of mulch at a consistent 75mm depth. Given the environmental sensitivity of the site, and the need to protect the underlying soil, the work had to be completed without unnecessary ground disturbance.

Leveraging our established relationships with mulch suppliers, we secured the required volume well in advance. By working closely with our suppliers, we navigated peak-season constraints and ensured the project had the necessary materials when and as needed.
Specialist Mulch Installation Techniques
Parking on the firebreak/access track, our blower trucks installed the mulch without the need for any machinery to be positioned on the bund. With the capability to blow mulch up to 300m uphill or downhill, we achieved complete coverage without compacting the soil – an essential factor in maximising plant establishment and long-term revegetation success.
