School Playground Softfall Mulch Installation

Roleystone Community School’s new playground is located in a challenging location within the school, far away from truck-appropriate access points. PMB worked with playground builder, Nature Play Solutions to complete the supply, delivery, and blower installation of 80m3 of playground softfall mulch in one day.
Being an active school, these works needed to be completed in a method that minimised the disruption to school activities, and school drop-off time. Our Operations Team delivered on this brief by:
- Setting up and installing 30m3 of softfall mulch before 8 am
- Reloading at the supplier between 8 am and 9 am
- Installing a further 30m3 before morning recess
- Reloading at our supplier during morning recess time
- Installing the final 20m3, and cleaning -up before school lunch-time
PMB completed these works quickly, efficiently, safely, and on-time much to the satisfaction of Nature Play Solutions.
